Can anyone recommend affiliate sites that work?

Have been looking at affiliate sites until my brain is nearly mush lol, keep getting sidetracked. Anyone had any amazing results?

No. Not that I know of anyways. What affiliate programs offer to you is an opportunity to use YOUR time and YOUR money to advertise THEIR product mostly using Multi-level compensation plans where showing i.e. that if you get 900 customers you will make some $40 thousand dollars a year.

Some charge membership fees so you make money on recruiting others into their (not yours) business, some are free to join for their calculations come from the fact that most (95%) of people will quit in 6 months or less, always leaving behind several repeat customers. Just use your common sense --- can you see yourself getting 900 customers? If your answer is yes then any business down the road will gladly pay you a fat commission if you bring them 900 new customers. (And if not them I definitely WILL)

However -- I stand to be corrected so anybody claiming to make money in these programs should be able to show you an exact calculations of how much time and money they invest on daily basis and what is their rate of return on their investment (i.e. time = $20.00 an hour plus advertising dollar amount), proof of income after expenses, before taxes. They should be able to provide these figures for the minimum of 8 months. (remember, most people quit after 6 months because they lost money in the deal) If you find anybody like that, let me know I will immediately promote their business. For years I am getting several offers like that every week and I still have to find one.

My advice to anybody to make an extra cash, replace their present income, become debt free or financially independent is this:

Study business practises on your own and learn everything about leverage where 1+1 does not equal 2 but 11. Every financialy sound person is using the power of leverage.

My wife and I, we have two children (Grade 1 and 2).They'd never seen us going to work. We take them to shool and we are home when they come back. They never heard from us that we can't afford this or that. Reason? We quit our jobs (Just Over Broke) and developed our income from Home Based Positions using leverage.

Clickbank is a great affiliate site that really pays. Linkshare is also good...pays once a week. Honestly though, marketing your links isn't as easy as it looks. Definitely do your research before you dabble into internet marketing :)

Stan the Man is confusing Affliate Programs with Network Marketing ( or Mult Level Marketing). Affilate Marketing is selling someone else's product for an IMMEDIATE PROFIT...not building a "downline" for residual income. Go look at Amazon.com and Clickbank. Both of these businesses have great reputations and have been around a long time.
