How you can you be an affiliate marketer without using a website?

Is it possible to advertise in many other ways? If so, how? How does the company know you have recommended someone? Any info you know would be so appreciated. Thankyou

Typically, sales are tracked by the provider of the affiliate program through a special tracking code embedded in the links of affiliates. Some programs even offer up to 30-day cookies such as Amazon affiliate program so the sale can be credited to the affiliate even though the sale was not immediate when the visitor clicked on the link. Without the embedded code, affiliate program managers will not be able to track the sale, and will not be credited to the affiliate.

I think website is a must-have before joinining affiliates. Plus, you won't even be approved because you will need to give your website URL to apply. They need to know that your website fits their product well

You do not need a site if you are trying to sell a product through affiliates.

You do need one to make money from other people trying to sell through affiliates.
