How much should i pay for my affiliate program?

hey guys, i design, print and sale t shirts to a large number of people.

it costs us 10 dollars to make the shirts, and we sell them for 20 dollars.

we're going to set up an affiliate program and such. how much should we pay associates for each shirt they sale? we make a $10 profit, so it shouldnt be more than half of it.
