What Kind of website should i have if i want to become an affiliate?

would a regular myspace page do? or a blog? i dont know what kind of page is appropriate for posting affiliate links

There are hundreds of affiliate marketing opportunities. You can go to Clickbank and open an account to get an affiliate ID and then start a blog using blogger to promote your affiliate sites.

It is a very simple process once you're familiar with the steps.

The down side is learning how to get traffic to your site...that is one reason I like blogger (Google owns them)...it takes quite awhile to generate enough traffic to become profitable.

Check out my blog and you'll see how I direct visitors to my blog to my affiliate opportunities and advertising.

I'll also include a website that can help you with learning about advertising...it has a positive rating with Ripoff.com so you need not worry about them.

Mona, I am going to share a link with you. No hype and no empty promises. This is strictly a step by step program that can assist in building a website around your affiliate links. The program is all inclusive with the exception of one missing part...You. You can take a look at this educational information.

I hope this will help provide some ideas for marketing.

You need to do your research first. Do not rely on other people's opinions. They may not be that honest. We all have hidden interests...

1) Go to Google and search for what people want:

You might want to stop by abestweb.org and review some of their 'new affiliates' information. I'm a member on the site (I'm a merchant, not an affiliate).

Hope that helps

Good luck

You don't mention what company you want to be an affiliate of. I'd imagine that there could be some firms that would be OK with affiliates using myspace or blog sites. (amazon for example) However, my guess is that the majority of companies would be looking for affiliates to at least have their own dot.com address and be engaged in some type of business of their own.

Hope that helps.
